Byte Recycling was born from a simple but powerful question: What truly happens to our old electronics once we no longer need them? Our founding team—passionate about technology and environmental sustainability—discovered that the reality was troubling. Devices were gathering dust in drawers, dumped in landfills, or exported as e-waste to countries ill-equipped to handle them safely.
What started as a small initiative to collect unused laptops from family and friends quickly evolved into a nationwide mission. Today, Byte Recycling helps individuals, businesses, and institutions responsibly recycle electronics, recover valuable materials, and reduce Nigeria's growing e-waste burden. We envision a future where technology supports the planet, not harms it.
